Good morning, RCS families, 

I hope your first week of school has been a joyful one! As I walked through the halls, I was delighted to see so many smiling faces and hear the laughter of both new and old friends. 

A quick reminder for our Pre-K parents beginning on Monday: 

● Please drop off in front of the school with siblings. 

● Display your letter P on the dashboard or visor for staff and volunteers to see. 

● Pull as far forward as possible to the end of the sidewalk before your child exits the car. 

You’ll see our 8th-grade students outside to assist, along with teaching aides ready to welcome our littlest learners. We are so excited to begin this journey with them and look forward to a wonderful year ahead. 

Our A.C.E. program also begins Monday, September 8th, which should also alleviate some congestion at drop off. 

The PTO Ice Cream Social will take place on Thursday, September 11th, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on the field and in the cafeteria. 

Please also mark your calendars for Back-to-School Night: 

● Middle School: Wednesday, 9/17, 7:00–8:30 p.m. 

● PreK–5: Thursday, 9/18, 7:00–8:30 p.m. 

Additional details about upcoming events and activities will be shared as the dates approach.
