Hola and welcome to the Spanish homework website we are finally up and running
so far we have worked on days of the week, months, seasons, numbers and colors so for those of you that need a review here goes:
los dias de la semana son: the days of the week are:
lunes - monday martes - tuesday miercoles - wednesday jueves - thursday viernes - friday sabado - saturday domingo - sunday
los meses del ano son: the months of the year are:
enero - january febrero - february marzo - march abril - april mayo - may junio - june julio - july agosto - august septiembre - september octubre - october noviembre - november dicembre - december
las estaciones son:
El invierno - the winter la primavera - the spring el verano - the summer el otono - the fall
que tiempo hace? what is the weather like?
hace frio - it is cold hace calor - it is warm hace viento - it is windy llueve - it's raining nieva - it's snowing
Los numeros da uno a veinte:
1- uno 2 - dos 3- tres 4- cuatro 5- cinco 6- seis 7- siete 8- ocho 9- nueve 10 - diez 11- once 12-doce
13- trece 14 catorce 15 quince 16 diez y seis 17 - diez y siete 18- diez y ocho 19 - diez y nueve 20 veinte.
we also learned how to express " Que es esto? what is this ? Esto es ... this is.........
Los colores :
azul - blue
blanco - white
anaranjado - orange
amarillo - yellow
black - negro
gris - gray
marron / caffe - brown
rosa / rosado - pink
rojo - red
morado - purple
verde - green
oro - gold
plata silver
students also learned classroom expressions of : tengo una pregunda / I have a question
quiero ir al bano / i need to go to the bathroom / bless you - salud / thank you - gracias / your welcome - de nada / I'm sorry - lo siento / have a good day - hace un buen dia .
Students are asked to go on utube and practice all of the above through the sight that has
spanish songs for kids, or if you have quizlet practice using their sight.

Hola, y Buenos dia.
Today we practiced our Adjectives with the game last man standing, we then practiced proper usage of new adjectives through complete sentences in complete Spanish. Teacher written, students translating.
Homework / La Tarea
Students were asked to create sentences of their own using the words that were not used in class today. Study all Adjectives and memorize their meaning. Read packet given with the days, months and seasons and translate sentences within the notebook be prepared to share in class next week.

Today Students continued lesson with the adjectives they worked in groups and described individuals in pictures that were given to them.
We also learned some new xmas words which are:
Celebracion de la Navidad - xmas celebration / una estrella - a star / un muneco de nieve - a snow man
un arbol de navidad - a xmas tree / una luz de navidad a xmas light / regalos - gifts / papa noel- santa claus
